How to Change Your Password

1)  For all new email accounts, a default password is used. Therefore, you will need to login to your email account and change  your password from the default password.  To change your password first go to the web mail website.

2)  Enter your user name and default password when you see the screen below:

3) After you successfully login, you should see the following screen:

4) Click on Tools at the top toolbar and then click on Accounts.  After clicking on Accounts, you will see the screen below:

5)At the next screen, enter your old password a new password of your choice and then again to confirm.  Your password should be at least 6 characters long, with a mix of numbers and letters for increased security.

6) After typing in your new password, click on OK at the bottom of the screen.

Remember to use your new password to login to your email.

This tutorial shows you how to set up Outlook Express to work with your e-mail account. 

1.Open Outlook Express. In the menu bar, select [Tools —— Accounts].

2.The Internet Accounts window will appear. Click the [Add] button and select [Mail].

3.Type in your name and click [Next]. This name is what will appear next to your email address in the header.

4.Enter your email address. Click [Next] when finished.

5.Select “POP3” as your incoming mail server.
Enter your Incoming and Outgoing mail servers :
Incoming server: ssl.corp-email.com
Outgoing server: ssl.corp-email.com
and click [Next].

6.Put in your mailbox username in the account name field, and the password below. Click Next. Click Finish.

 

—-> STEP B:
Find the new account you just entered in the list of accounts.Double-click the new account name. A Properties dialog box will open.

(1)Click the Servers tab.
Click the checkbox beside “My server requires authentication” (near the bottom of the dialog box).
Click OK. The Properties dialog box will close.
Click the Close button on the Internet Accounts dialog box.

Setting Up Your POP or IMAP Email Address in Microsoft Outlook

This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook 2003 to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook 2003, but these settings are similar in other versions of Microsoft Outlook. You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook by using the settings in this tutorial.

To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, from the E-mail Accounts menu, select Tools.

  2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.

  3. For your server type, select POP3 or IMAP, and then click Next.
  4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3/IMAP) window, enter your information as follows:
  5. Your Name
    Your first and last name.
    E-mail Address
    Your email address.
    User Name
    Your email address, again.
    Password
    Your email account password.
    Incoming mail server (POP3)
    POP, ssl.corp-email.com or IMAP, ssl.corp-email.com.
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
    ssl.corp-email.com

    Click More Settings.

    NOTE: “us.corp-email.com” is an SMTP relay server. In order to use this server to send e-mails, you must first activate SMTP relay on your e-mail account. Log on to your Manage Email Accounts page to set up SMTP relay. If you do not have SMTP relay set up and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) allows it, you can use the outgoing mail server for your Internet Service Provider. Contact your Internet Service Provider to get this setting.

  6. On the Internet E-mail Settings window, go to the Outgoing Server tab.
  7. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  8. If you did not change the SMTP relay section, select Use same settings as my incoming mail server. If you changed the user name and password in the SMTP relay section of your Manage Email Accounts page, select Log on using and enter the user name and password. The following example assumes you did not change your SMTP relay section in your Manage Email Accounts page.
